It's interesting, but now that a lot of people are starting to use smart TV 's and dongles, HDMI cables may become less important. Having a TOSLINK in might actually be the way forward.

Just as I was thinking, like a few others have posted: I like that some car makers are willing to take styling risks. I really don't like the Cadillac designs of the last ten years or so, but I do like that they aren't amorphous blobs like so many other cars. So, even though I won't buy one, kudos to the Cadillac design team. But then @ArmchairPhilosopher has to go and post that photo of the XM. Shame on BMW.

My Snake Oil digital coaxial audio cable shipped. Do I expect there to be a big difference? Not sure. Will I fall victim to hearing magic coming out of my speaker probably not. I had the opportunity to drive a similar Citroen. A coworker was retiring, a fan of Alfas and Citroens. His retirement celebration was at a Chuck-e-Cheese. Seriously. He let me drive his Citroen with the Maserati engine and hydraulic suspension. It was amazing how smooth the ride is. You did not feel speed bumps driving over them and according to him, is an excellent highway cruiser. A car way ahead of its time.

The Citroën SM (Maserati) won Motor Trends Car of Year in 1972: the first time a foreign car won that award.

That is ugly. Likewise for the XM. Sad that the long line of beautiful BMWs has come to such a depressing end in the last few years. This year's models have reached an absolute nadir.
