Class D isn’t sacred and schiit said they won’t do it.

What about linear power supply vs switching power supplies? Is that sacred?

As an aside, I’d love it if they brought back a low power, discrete pure class A headphone amplifier. Like the original Asgard resurrected, but even more pared down. No gain switch, only one input, no preamp outs.

Edit: D-oh. The original Asgard only had one gain setting and one set of rca inputs with no preamp out. Lol.

Yep, Syn will be next week. It may not be formally announced until the Schiitrless meet on the 30th to give us some time to build a few. But it will certainly be there.

In the meantime, a preview of Urd.

Um, is the CD upside down, as it truly looks like the stacking ring is facing up. Is the Urd similar to the old Pioneer Stable Platter mechanism players, where the disc label faced down?
