I had heard them plenty of times but this is my first time going back and listening through Sonus Fabers and a PrimaLuna amp. A much improved output stage for me.

Before I would have to go through a headphone amp I designed and quality headphones. I have several options so I also tried a couple other amps and a Freya +.

I wonder if I'll regret getting a regular Magni+ and not the Piety. Dunno why I'd need both, though, my intention isn't really to collect headphone amps so much as to have a solid headphone amp that works well with my headphones. But the idea of it sounds kinda cool, coloration but pleasantly so?

LOL I'm in similar situation where I already have Lyr 3 and Project Solstice incoming but I'm still somehow intrigued by Magni Piety. If it can get "close enough" while being smaller and cheaper I'd always go for that lol.

Otherwise Modi Multibit 2 is also auto buy from me.

If you are going to use 1 amp...

The Magni is a no-brainer... if you are still looking at Piety, I still suggest Asgard 3 for a fraction more.
