I spent more time with copper to be honest. While I was GM, the owner called the shots on imported items. I worked more with custom builds for large companies. In retirement I spend more time with audio and woodworking. The tiny Decware speakers are right up my alley. I can only change the design so much but I was more curious to see if I could do the proper cuts on the cabinets using equipment I already have.Both... but your (extensive) experience may vary.
We used to retail a few different cable companies 1995-2013.

I am in an area that was once a hotbed for electronics and throughout my career I have worked with the engineering department at a local university. I have also made some very good friends here at Head-Fi.Fortunate indeed !! ... no such mates here. They think I'm crazy with my gear !!
If it wasn't for HeadFi I probably wouldn't have got into the hobby the way I have ... I wouldn't have known where to start. Great people on this site ... very generous with their time.I am in an area that was once a hotbed for electronics and throughout my career I have worked with the engineering department at a local university. LOL nothing wrong with enjoying great wine. Most that I buy come from France, Italy, or Australia. Occasionally California. If it wasn't for HeadFi I probably wouldn't have got into the hobby the way I have ... I wouldn't have known where to start. Here, in rural France, we are a 'hotbed' for French wine ... that's definitely what my friends are into !!
I wonder if the Beaujolais Nouveau will be good this year?If it wasn't for HeadFi I probably wouldn't have got into the hobby the way I have ... I wouldn't have known where to start. Great people on this site ... very generous with their time.

The thought of Travolta makes me mois...Nah. LOL! I will be in Hades for that joke, eh?Same here...much more functionality -- especially nowadays compared to when it was just CDs replacing albums. But even way back then, it was a no brainer for me.
That said, I do miss the Interior Design touch of all my Peaches crates!
Not to mention live appearances/record signings/etc. Who could resist a store visit by John Travolta?

I have decided a future project will be to refurbish a Thorens TD 125 turntable and build my own plinth and arm board. Now that I am retired I can spend more time with my vinyl collection.Sooooo COOOOOOL!
