I have a pair of omnidirectional speakers. Originally made by AV123. Designed by Danny Richie. X-Omni.

Wow. I am still rocking some av123 speakers in my home theater.

Do not take LSD with these tubes.

The new Dave's Pick is an Owsley master folks. Grab 'em while you can.
Already have ordered it. Loves Dave's pick's. Right now I have 1 thru 42. 43 on the way. Owsley was the man. Very very eclectic.

Freya+ is the way to go. I was thinking Freya S, but really with + you get both.

There seems to be a photograph that was up a for a minute on the Schiit site and is gone now that had interesting looking tubes.
If they were diminutive in stature and had domed tops (a la R2D2), they were probably the new LISST. WHAT did the ones you saw look like?

If SYS is used as a "destination selector" with the pot set at minimum, the source device outputs will be shorted to ground. Set the SYS pot to max and use an upstream device to control volume. Or use two downstream devices.
That makes sense and I hadn't thought of that.... but wouldn't that also be the case when it is selecting between 2 sources to a single output? In that case, it's still going to short the output when you turn it all the way down, correct?

Not at all. The selected source will see a constant load no matter where the wiper is positioned. It's the input of the next device that experiences a varying resistance.

We are leaving them ashes, so they're pissed.
Every generation blames the previous one...

Most of the pollution comes from the countries that do nothing about it...
