When I met my wife she lived there. She says it's a good place to be from.
Funny. That’s also what we said about VMI! Both are nuthin’ but gospel…

Visit me in Florida on the Gulf Coast this summer. We'll go inland and hit the lakes ...
Lol! I feel ya there. Humidity is ghe other thing on my “Just say NO!” list. this week won’t spend much time below the century mark (that includes from 2200-0800), The weekend 107, they say. I lived in Southeast Asia for 4 years. Monsoon season was a nightmare. Admittedly, I prefer it dry (fewer bugs, too). 90’s are great…

The best climate I've ever lived in was central Wisconsin during the summer, encompassing July and most of August. The rest is winter. 🤣

I'm gonna do a future chapter entitled "Desperation is the Mother of Invention."

Because between parts shortages and fights to keep things simple and affordable, we've come up with some really interesting things.

Part shortages. If only Peter Walker’s description of an amplifier was literally true.

Hey all,

So I said that we'd be making an announcement this week, one that would help with the tube nervosa. Of course, as soon as I said this, Murphy mobilized his cosmic forces against us, so no announcement is gonna be made. Especially since it's Elvis' birthday tomorrow (our Elvis, not that Elvis), and I don't want to give everyone in Valencia double heart-attacks.

Which means next week is gonna be a heckuva week! Both before and during the Texas Audio Roundup.

But, because you deserve it, here's a peek at a part of the announcement:

Stay tuned...

All the best,
Jason
Jason, please don't make one in silver. I don't want one. At all!

And when I go home in a week I have a Freya+ waiting for me, so the recent teaser is piquing my interest :relaxed:
Freya+ is the way to go. I was thinking Freya S, but really with + you get both.

There seems to be a photograph that was up a for a minute on the Schiit site and is gone now that had interesting looking tubes.

Some of my current efforts with radial desktop speakers. There will be a gap at the bottom and then the patinated copper plate. Purpleheart and tiger maple and behind them unfinished ambrosia maple.
