500+ Head-Fier
I know the feeling. I ended up building 6 different versions of it!
No, to the contrary: I'm curiously relieved to find out you don't have any regrets about the road not taken. Though the path your story took is enough to make me shiver.3) They couldn't have paid me enough to be RJ's 'fluffer'.
(Hopefully, not TMI.)
Nah, Rome was built in seven days, using GE valves.Hell's kittens that is almost as bad as @bcowen moving from cardboard box to cardboard box. I believe he was raised by wolves, some think he is Romulus, others Remus, but I have no opinion either way.
Perhaps AZ is the perfect place to hide from the Grim Reaper, ex-wives, and the IRS (once they discover you've hidden from, rather than succumbed to, the Grim Reaper). It had occurred to me but I seem to remember LK passing away earlier this year. That, and you don't have as many ex-wives. Or maybe you do. Dunno.
It should have been the mains switch... on the back. "Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya... punk?"
Those I build for myself have separate left and right volume pots if that counts. They even have VU meters if I so desire. On one occasion I even messed around with magic eye tubes but that was just to win a bet. I self fund my audio habit. Some are ugly but I generally win the bets. I had to incorporate a blade switch on this one.
The Schiit ReachAround™®©, often copied, always admired...and desired.Power switch at the back. Nice.

It was not the mains switch lol, I used it to switch the magic eye tubes on and off but it was used.It should have been the mains switch... on the back. "Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya... punk?"
Oh, schiit! The lost fluffer has been found! The Schiit ReachAround™®©, often copied, always admired...and desired.

You could have a very lucrative side-gig building Cracks for people and customizing them.My only issue with Bottlehead is i glance at a kit and have a clear vision of what I would change so I am then in for a lot of work.
Lol, there are folks doing the standard build and selling them for $750, I would be paying a lot and using few parts from the kit. I am turning down $2,000 each for more lucrative builds so I can pursue other hobbies. You could have a very lucrative side-gig building Cracks for people and customizing them.
You are the second person I can think of on here who might turn some miscellaneous parts into an amp. You are correct that it is push-pull and class A. I did not keep that one I am running out of space.purdy. OTL push-pull?
(that "tarnish" on front panel could use a little clean-up, though . seriously though, that blue patina is very cool)
