What equipment of yours is so broken or poorly placed that you need balance control? 😉
Wait until you develop Left Ear Syndrome (or Right Ear Advantage).

How many other amps for headphones have a balance pot?
SparkoS Aries has two big rotary encoders on either end of the front, and you can swap which one controls the volume and which one controls the balance. Sadly no option to make both control the volume, but that's understandable because they are not motorized and don't spin freely.

How do you know I'm not? :)
It had occurred to me but I seem to remember LK passing away earlier this year. That, and you don't have as many ex-wives. Or maybe you do. Dunno. :)

Hell's kittens that is almost as bad as @bcowen moving from cardboard box to cardboard box. I believe he was raised by wolves, some think he is Romulus, others Remus, but I have no opinion either way. :beerchug:
Bad?!? We upgraded from a single-wall to double-wall when I was in elementary school, and then moved to a nice place near a golf course into a double-wide double-wall when I was in high school. I remember Sunday drives stacked up on the family moped thinking how lucky we were. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Those I build for myself have separate left and right volume pots if that counts. They even have VU meters if I so desire. On one occasion I even messed around with magic eye tubes but that was just to win a bet. I self fund my audio habit. Some are ugly but I generally win the bets. I had to incorporate a blade switch on this one.

You look like Larry King in the reflection. Just sayin'. :)

obviously Ableza = Larry King. but maintaining both personas became a very belaboring and time-consuming process, so the logical option was to terminate one of them
(and of course the one talking about audio, booze, cats, etc. couldn't be possibly be eliminated).

My second tube preamp was a Bottlehead Foreplay 2 with dual mono volume controls. Not the best preamp but for the money and simplicity it was a fun kit.

My only issue with Bottlehead is i glance at a kit and have a clear vision of what I would change so I am then in for a lot of work.😜
