Plug it into a tv with an optical out, I don't see the diff. ( i forgot it has hdmi, not optical out)That doesn't replace the discontinued Chromecast Audio, which is probably what @Stevko was referring to.
I have a relative that calls duct tape, "date tape".
For those that feel other wise, keep in mind it is a joke. You know...A "joke"? Meant to elicit laughter and engender camaraderie amongst the ranks of we plebians.

Yea. A smart tv or a tv with std chromecast with hdmi will work.Plug it into a tv with an optical out, I don't see the diff. ( i forgot it has hdmi, not optical out)
For the Jot A, I used the original cable that came with the LCD-R. For the adaptor, which is wired conventionally, I used a regular Audeze-compatible 4-pin XLR male-terminated cable which is also wired conventionally. Nothing was ever out of phase.Does that mean the review comparing the Jotunheim to the other gear was done with the Jotunheim in correct polarity on both earcups and the AudioGD was done with L/R out of phase with eachother?
I agree with your LCD-R review video. I am enjoying the floating, holographic sound out of the Jot A. Do you use the Bass Shelf much? I'm tending to prefer the normal mode; not as much bass "presence" but does have impact and serious decay...I'm finally understanding what "Fast" is.For the Jot A, I used the original cable that came with the LCD-R. It feels comfortable on my ears. It is a little heavy but I've owned Audeze LCD cans before and knew what to expect. The headband was no issue at all. It's the newer wide band and is comfortable for me.@HK_sends, how does the LCD-R feel on your head and ears? Looks to be a little on the heavy side. Any uncomfortable pressure points?
I just got the Lokius. Looks beautiful with my Bifrost 2 stacked with it. The Stax energizer silver above makes it look promising to build an all silver stack….one can dream! (Sick of black, personally)
Maybe someday I’ll have something as nice as THIS one (posted some time ago by a head-fi member, can’t remember who)….
I’ll try to have a video up on my channel with reviews that play with the Lokius EQ. Sound demos and such to show you guys with your own ears how the bands affect things. I’ll probably use TOTL stuff like HE6SE, STAX, and HD 800 S to try it out.
I’m especially interested in how the HE6SE will play along with the Lokius when running off of that tube amp pictured (Xduoo TA-30).
EDIT:: If I get a chance to try it but not make a video about it in detail, I’ll try to share impressions here in a write up.
The LCD-XC is one of my best purchases this year. Even though they are closed-back, they provide a very wide and spacious soundstage. They sound amazing with the Jot2 and, to my ears, they are even better with the FA-12. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Those are some stunning cans! I hope they sound as good as they look! It’s nice to see collaborations between companies in this way. I’m saving for the LCD-XC so I can have a pair for isolated listening. I really dig the Audeze aesthetic.
and another for the power supplies named... Schiit Brick House.I think we need an official shelf from Schiit for their products. Maybe a “Schiit Schelf” or “Schiit House”.
It's a huge difference in usability if you need to plug it into a TV, and turn on the TV to listen to music.Plug it into a tv with an optical out, I don't see the diff.
