get a black (or spray paint black) PI case, and hide it behind your pile of Schiit.

5. I doubt that. Doubt if it will even fit. I guess the ARM board (Schitt Pi) is for the larger models.

The DSP chip is physically larger than the ARM CPU on the pi.

I'm such a tightwad that I was ecstatic to be able to repurpose an Apple Airport Express that had been sitting in a drawer to be a Roon endpoint. Free beats $70.

Too much trouble. I'd rather just hire the bands to come perform in my back yard.

For the combined cost of the equipment I referenced I'll be looking forward to my invite for "The Who" concert you're hosting in your backyard.
