if i was still living in NL i would be happy to join especially with t-shirts involved )
Same here. Maybe I should arrange one in Abu Dhabi (weekend) or Al Khobar (weekdays), but I'm afraid I will be the only participant.

As Dutchies you're still welcome if one of your countries decides to throw you out.Same here. Maybe I should arrange one in Abu Dhabi (weekend) or Al Khobar (weekdays), but I'm afraid I will be the only participant.
Me no specialist but I like the way they do it here in Madrid: Big glass, loads of ice, gin up to ice level (so a lot of it) and then tonic water to taste but even with the whole bottle in it remains strong@bosiemoncrieff : Bosie, did you already take part in my G&T poll?
I do appreciate a specialists take on my favourite drink.
Looks like a good time for you Americans to invest in single malt Scotch and French wineHahaha post the porn! Previous pic was my "top" shelf ... here's my "bottom" shelf. Lol had to start some overflow shelves too. I just like glass bottles ... tubes, spirits, it's all good!
The kids say we're "alcohol enthusiasts" ... if we were alcoholics those bottles would be empty !
I was about to say classic , but then realized the proof difference. I don't think I've had that one ... that's the "East" variant right?
$4K last time I checked. I got something from HomeGoods for around $150...This one is made for HI-FI listening... The Gamut Hi-Fi lobster chair

Eric, I have no idea why you'd want to spend your weekends in Abu Dhabi. KSA is so much fun! Ok JK I spent 2-3 days in Riyadh and was bored. The 4 days in Dubai I had afterwards were much better. I wish the Saudi's luck with their new effort to promote tourism in KSA. If only they would allow drinking and Non-Muslims to visit Mecca. Just think drunken teen/college spring break in Mecca videos (Girls Gone Wild Pilgrimage Edition).
Ok enough kidding, I do wish I had gotten to visit the Nabatian Ruins in NE KSA. For the uninitiated remember the cool cliff buildings featured in Indiana Jones or the first live action Transformers (Michael Bay film). Those are in Petra, Jordan, been there twice, BTW Spoiler Alert:But across the border in Saudi there are many more ancient ruins of the same civilization.the inside of the Treasury (pictured below) is pretty much a large empty room not cave with traps, and sorry Michael Bay but you can't run from Petra, Jordan to the Piramids of Giza, Cairo, Egypt in 5 minutes.
You'd probably have more luck with Abu Dhabi or Dubai than Khobar.
Lived 2 years in Al Khobar, spent most of my R&R in Thailand.
I wonder if they still pile the blood-stained wrecks of traffic collisions at crossroads to deter violators...
I don't think the deterrents are working, not a lot to do Saudi:
Hi @Jason Stoddard - I have a question that’s more about process than product: “voicing” of electronics. I’ve heard “audio people” use the term to describe the tweaking of the sound of a close-to-final product as a step toward making the final product.
My question in multiple parts is:
- Does Schiit do it or is it a bunch of hooey?
- If so, in general terms what does it entail (e.g. swapping specific components? Adjusting power supply voltages?, etc?)
- how do you know what to change when voicing something?
Not asking for you to reveal trade secrets (unless you really want to), just curious.
Thanks!
Ed
Does this pass The online cat-scan?
I am sure that leaves @bcowen more free time to pursue his other rituals involving tubes and vinyl.
