Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Agree... but pure, fully grounded water is best carried in granite buckets. Or for the décor-driven, marble buckets. To save the joints and back, suggest an indoor stream. Or... even better, move your TT rig down by the river. As Neil Young advised.
ASR would hate it (mineral content kills THD%), but man, Central Oregon water sounds so yummy!

Yeah, all good. But unless you either discard the solution frequently or filter it, the debris removed during the previous LP cleaning will be contained in the microscopic bubbles of cavitation and you'll have little dirt bubbles exploding all over the next LP you clean. This is causing my OCD to flare up, and it's all your fault. 🤣
Keep it up and I will let Finnegan give them a bath.😸😸

When you see the green pea soup in Texas it's time to hit the storm shelter, coz ugly is coming. Don't hang around to watch it.

Like this one from last Summer in SW Ontario, Canada?

@Roy G. Biv -- that is not a straw. It is a Texas-sized swizzle stick.

Alex, did you buy all the nice tubes from Upscale audio?
They were sent to me by a nice frequent member of this thread....
I used to have a few 12au7 variants I used with a BH Crack years ago and sold or gave away most of them
Tom sent me these variants to try in a Vali 3. Using a adapter to allow for the 12AU7's.
I also have a Vali 2+ and an adapter for it as well.

I have already listened to all of them for a few minutes each to make sure the tubes are functional..
Over the next week I hope to get down to my favorites!

Tons of fun here.
The Schiit Vali series punches way above its $150 price tag...and with a good tube is pretty close to as good as it gets!
IMO!

Alex

This record cleaning discussion makes me think that my avoidance of the vinyl city block size sinkhole was a stroke of genius----at least for me.

Upwards of 4000 bucks for a record cleaning machine?...Pass.
I stopped when I bought my Nitty Gritty 2.5fi.

I did spring for the coca bola cabinet up-grade though
