Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Have you tried the MJ3 with the Yggy OG? I ask because when researching which Yggy to buy, I noticed a good number of reviewers went back to their Yggy OG for the different flavor.
Hi @psy472 - yes, I got Mjolnir 3 at the end of August last year, and listened to it with Yggy OG A2 through the middle of November, when I swapped MiB for OG in the main system... maybe it's time to put it back and re-listen? Food for thought... sonic memory is so fleeting... <g>

Truthfully I would have to know more about @bevanc’s system and media sources. Does he have a huge vinyl or CD collection or does he mostly stream or play FLAC files? What speakers if any are in place now? What kind of power amp? Would Sonus Faber’s be wasted with his current amp?
Most of listening is streaming or playing ripped FLAC.

I'm currently using a Bluesound Node into a Mojo 2, with Freya and Vidar OG driving Dynaudio Excite X14 in a medium sized room.

The Bifrost 2/64 is a marginally better DAC, but it has better synergy with the Jot 2 in my headphone setup that gets used a little more than my 2 channel setup. I change them around every now and again.

I think it's more case of upgraditis, but I heard the Lumina III at the local dealer and really liked their mid range and the extra scale you get with the larger speakers. I also like the KEF R3 Meta, but the wife didn't like the finish on those, she prefers the Dynaudio. She of course loved the Reference 1s, but they are a little out of the price range. The Lumina III are gorgeous, so no issue there, and they are not as imposing as the R3.

And with the Yggy GS2 it's definitely a case of FOMO.

A good DAC can play an important part in your system and those speakers will be around.

Breakfast with Tiffany Barbie ? 😂
No, alone at the cafe.

Actually our family went there by ferry from Sorrento, yes, in the morning, that was my breakfast.
I've been there before, so let my two daughters and her mother go uphill to the blue cave, but cable car suspended due to regular maintenance. so they take the narrow small bus uphill, I wait for them and relax at the cafe.

... besides, what would this thread be without a little peer pressure to buy more Schiit?
Personally I never feel pressure since I have owned around 14 Schiit devices and only use a solid state amp with the same specs as the Carver Silver Seven tube amp other than in my surround sound system.
