I've not used Soundiiz, but some folks claim it's useful for such pursuits: https://soundiiz.com/featuresRandom, musically related question and downsizing and stuff:
I'm planning on selling off my LPs, turntable and Mani2 (downsizing, going all in on roon, long term preparation for my sleep research project).
I have entered all my LPs on discogs.
I'd like to make sure I have digital copies of the things I care about (btw, The Police Every Breath You Take: The Classics CD is a ripoff).
Anyone know of an app to correlate the songs in roon, MusicBrainz and discogs?
P.S. my avatar when it comes to coding something like this is
- roon knows what I own
- discogs knows what LPs I have. It's not friendly at track-listing
- MusicBrainz has track info
It means that @AstronomerXI can store and carry precious tubes without risking a @bcowen ambush...I thought GE was an object of scorn, tube-wise?

Disguise! Got it. Better than a tube safe. (PSA: don't use qwant to search for "vacuum tube safe")It means that @AstronomerXI can store and carry precious tubes without risking a @bcowen ambush...
And here in California, we have a sales and a use tax...*in addition* to a state income tax (and an impending utility tax). Although our property taxes might be at a nominally lower rate than in Texas...depending on the comparative value of similar properties, and other factors.Several pages behind, so please excuse if ninja'd...
In Texas we have a sales & use tax, in lieu of a state income tax.
FTFY. https://www.kiplinger.com/state-by-state-guide-taxes/californiaI know, between 6.25% and 8.25% depending on where in Texas you are, right? That's so cute.
In The Golden State, we have sales and use tax (between 7.25% and 10.75% depending on your county and/or city) in addition to the highest state income tax rates in the nation (up to 14.4%).
https://texaslawhelp.org/article/pr...homestead exemption, only be taxed on $200,000.General residence homestead exemption. You are eligible for a homestead exemption if you (1) own your home (partial ownership counts), (2) the home is your principal residence, and (3) you have a Texas driver’s license or Texas-issued personal identification certificate (your I.D. card address must match your principal residence address).
Homeowners who qualify for a general residence homestead exemption are also eligible for the following exemptions if they meet these criteria:
General Residence Homestead Exemption. The general residence homestead exemption is a $100,000 school tax exemption. This means that your school taxes are calculated as if your home is worth $100,000 less than its appraised value. For example, if your home is appraised at $300,000, you will only be taxed on $200,000.
- Over 65 exemption: For homeowners 65 and older. If you are over 65 when you die, your surviving spouse, if they are 55 or older, will get your over-65 exemption.
- Disability exemption: For homeowners (not their children) who have a disability that would qualify for Social Security Disability benefits. If you are a senior with a disability, you can take only one of the exemptions.
- Veteran exemption: For veterans with a disability, their spouses and survivors, and spouses and survivors of military personnel killed on active duty. The amount of the exemption depends on the percentage of service-connected disability.
Local Residence Homestead Exemptions. Some local governments have adopted additional homestead exemptions for school taxes. These local exemptions are based on a percentage of the homestead value. For example, a 20% local exemption applied to a $200,000 homestead would reduce the taxable amount to $160,000. When you then apply the $100,000 general exemption, the taxable amount falls to $60,000.
