We are losing pubs at an alarming rate here in the UK.

There is also a trend to turn beautiful old pubs into ‘gastro pubs’, serve crap beer, over-priced food and kill the whole character of places.

It has happened to my old ‘local’ where I grew up in north London.
It is now a soulless place.

Fortunately, there are still some ‘proper’ English pubs around.

The Railway in Skipton is one, and we are spoilt with several gems in the old market town in Staffordshire, where I now live.

I feel kind of special for getting a Fulla 4. I always find superstitions entertaining and like to challenge them.

My girlfriend uses it in her office. Apple Music from her phone to a WiiM. Toslink out to Fulla and that to a 20 year old set of Cambridge Soundworks pc speakers. It works well and she loves it.

I'm pretty sure the current OG is the same as A2 in 2018. Yggy+ was just an enclosure/ form-factor change facilitating self-upgrades and updated FW to allow for NOS and a remote. At least that's all they're saying about that FW upgrade.

What sonic advantages are there to using a pentagonn connector for headphones? (If any).

Part 2... are there sonic advanges to using a 4 pin balanced connector in headphones?

I know the basics of balanced v. unbalanced but will the audio be improved beyond the grounding?

You are correct. The OG board is largely unchanged since the A2 version analog board. I'm sure there were some running part changes over the past 5 years, but not of sonic significance.
