Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I'd strongly disagree. I always felt that his career was based on his ability to deadpan sentences that are otherwise funny (or supposed to be) with a Germanic accent. Just watch True Lies to see this best displayed.
I believe he got Conan based on how he looked in a thong as opposed to his comedic repartee which is how he most assuredly kept his career going. I think his funniest line in Conan is when he says “adieu”.

There are some (me), who wouldn't touch Apple stuff with a 10 foot pole. I don't do proprietary anything, plus, I hate the ghost of Steve Jobs.

I don't preach to anyone. Choose the dark side, that's your choice. Personally, I think AMD have the best silicone going.

"I don't preach to anyone". You just did.

Whatever works for you.

There is no such thing as fully digital amplification. Sooner or later you need to convert from digital to analog to feed the speakers. And attenuation is much better when done to the signal at that point.
We may be getting into semantics, but my understanding is that what's called a digital amp is typically a class D device that translates the incoming PCM into either pulse width modulation or pulse density modulation in the digital domain, and basically has one stage in the analog domain.

Take this for example: https://hifimediy.com/product/hifime-udp320-usb-and-spdif-true-digital-power-amplifier-2x150w/

Can't speak for @O8h7w but maybe that's what he was referring to.

One could say the same thing about Pentacon. Whatever if ever Jason goes with a mini balanced connector, I will get to needed adapter cable or just pass on the product.

** For the record, I personally prefer Pentacon. 😉
My only dislike for Pentacon is Sony pushes it... I like the products, despise some of their reps.

Welcome to the forum, sorry about your wallet.

Don't forget to post an obligatory Cat (preferred) or Dog picture as part of your initiation.
uh oh... haven't posted any pictures of cats - gear-cars-booze yet... I'm deeply sorry. :face_palm:

It's not a tumor

Hey Jason, if you ever do come out with a larger Sys+, one feature that I would love to see is a switch that would allow the volume pot to be completely bypassed, which would turn the Sys+ into a pure input/output switcher. That's the one feature that I wish the current Sys had.
Since we are making a wishlist... Can it have high pass/lowpass crossover?

Good idea, but the bypass switch needs to be foolproof.

This is what happens when you're not around to supervise. I'd recommend you make more frequent visits to keep @Ripper2860 in line. 🤣
As much as it pains me, @bcowen is right. My very raucous nature knows no limits and takes no days off. I require supervision at all times.

I'm not really sure how much more foolproof an On/Off switch can get?!

Me either, may be put the switch at the back. :)
