Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

For our use case, does the mains frequency matter? In our gear's power supply, after the voltage change, the incoming power is rectified to DC, right?

Some devices will actually draw more current on 50Hz and require different fuses or breakers. Those are most often highly inductive things like blowers. Question now becomes how Schiit components appear to AC.

Perhaps a world-wide tube bank where people could upload their inventories and their needs, create for-sale listings and for-swap listings, and "want to buy" lists. The database could make probable matches between buyers and inventories by region and tube type, and if you're clever you could even integrate a secure payment or swap system. Sort of a cross between eBay and "Tinder" for tubes. Swipe left for EL34. Call it "Whee-Bay."
We need a sort of Discogs for tubes. I'd call it Tubular. 🤙🏻

In a prior post, Jason said he directed the staff to allocate a portion of silver MJ3 covers for folks that bought Black when there was no silver option. Yields are pretty low and all were going to new silver MJ3 orders, but true-to-form Jason did the right thing by his customers. You may want to reach out to Schiit if you are in need of one.

My DAC Journey
by Verde and Black

... I have some old, budget Polk bookshelf speakers not connected to anything and room in my office. ...
Great journey! Now maybe a Rekkr or Gjallarhorn to replace that S.M.S.L. when budget permits (or, elsewise, sorry for your wallet).

Above 1000, involves more walking around the room and rifling through boxes, closets and other rooms. However, walking is apparently good for your health. And even better, re-discovering a long forgotten stash when tubes were cheap and women weren't is more thrilling than any SQL query returning exact location data.
wine rack style tube racks and tube cellars for y'all intense tubers?

about the same shape, if a might big... Actually, could keep both the wine-mod and the matching tube close to hand :-D

Spreadsheet? Have you any idea what that would involve? Tube type, country of origin, manufacturer, year of manufacture (if discernable), internal construction notes (plate style and material, getter (holder) type and location, supports, etc), GM test readings, ancillary notes for leakage, marginal flashing, inventory housing location, etc etc.
@ArmchairPhilosopher instead of roon for music how about roon for tubes?

Odd. While I have not received a shipping confirmation from Schiit (also checked SPAM/Junk folder), I did receive a TEXT from FedEx that I have a package on its way to me from Valencia, CA. It seems that Yggy GS2 is enroute and I should have it very soon! It will be a very merry Christmas at the Ripper residence, indeed!! :D

I'll reach out to orders@schiit.com for a receipt if I don't get one soon.
