And that’s how products should be supported.
I had a few factory visits when I sold hifi; Linn, Meridian, Mission (pre IAG), B&W, and Arcam. Arcam was memorable, as it was my first exposure to Abbot Ale
Ah yes good old Abbott ale the beer that anesthetises from the waist down - a lovely hand pulled pint -preferably in Bury St Edmunds Pub ( there were quite a few back in the early eighties) , and pretty good in bottles too My old local in Mildenhall kept a good pint of Abbot ale and IPA too -
We used to have fun back in Pre- decimal days our coinage was utterly bizzare based on multiples of 4,5,8,12, 16. and 20 and some coins had really obscure values to really mess up your mind

I miss Abbott's, along with Shepherd Neame, Doombar and Badger Beers. Don't get me wrong, the beer scene in Pittsburgh is great, I can even get some nice English mild and ESB's locally, but I do sometimes miss the English beers.
Last night I broke out my recently upgraded Yggy+OG. The finish is so silky smooth it didn’t even feel like Schiit! It also felt more solid compared to the old chassis. It definitely fit the feel of a premium component.
Here you can kind of see the difference compared to the brushed aluminum of Tyr.
Finally got to hear it a little last night and it sounded very good. Looking forward to breaking it in.
My Bifrost2 and Jot2 have the same differences, the Jot2 is more brushed, and the Bifrost is smooth. The effect is fairly subtle unless sunlight is on them, so it's whatever.

Neither. This must have been made post-war but before 1973 when a court ruled that the label "Made in Germany" can legally be used by both, West Germany and the GDR. After that ruling, products out of West Germany would have usually been labeled with "Made in W. Germany" to differentiate them from products made in the GDR, which most West Germans of course deemed superior in quality to that East German communist centrally planned socialist economy stuff. I mean, c'mon! If you can't even buy a banana, how can you make proper slide rulers, right?!
Not that beefy, actually. Just your normal mid-tier 4-pin XLR connector that Hart Audio Cables uses for their modular headphone cable system. It's just shot from really close, makes it look chunkier than it is.
But then again; I tend to use the same excuse for selfies, and people don't believe me then, either…
