After the tailoring of one's music, the bestest thing about the Loki Max is how it pisses off traditional or "old school" frAudiophiles. They loathe Equalisers as they feeeeeeeeeeel it detracts from the way the fArteest demanded you hear the music. Or some crap like that.

I am glad that you and others hear and enjoy all variations of the Loki. And yes. I spelled it "hear" on purpose.

Urd question: can I plug both usb inputs into my PC (win 11) and show up as two separate audio devices?

Would make it more convenient to switch between using the 3Dspatial codec for gaming and turning that off if I can just click a different audio device by the clock. would save me 4 painstaking more clicks with my mouse...

Yes. Each input has a separate PID/VID and description string.

I did not drop my Tidal sub (yet), but have been listening to Qobuz exclusively for the last month. It will be interesting to re-listen to the same playlists on Tidal, after the FLAC conversion is complete... bc apparently only iOS clients can access the full FLAC library today; my AURALiC is a Linux box...
