It also takes them way too long to convey actual facts.
That's what I keep telling my documentation team... a well-written half page beats a 5 minute video with 30 seconds of actual content... but then, the leadership team at YouTube is rolling on the floor laughing at me right now.

Finnegan is in charge of quality control... very thorough.
I have yet to hook up REL subs but so far with an Emotiva transport, PrimaLuna amp and Sonus Fabers I am very happy with the sound!
Looks as though you obtained some really nice boxed CD collections.
Many, I have not gone through all of those yet, but I am very impressed with the collection thus far. It is a bittersweet situation and FLTWS's love of music is certainly evident. The collection will eventually end up with my son and then my granddaughter.

I’m in the market for a pair of closed headphones and was wondering if someone in their 60’s needs to worry about cans that are perceived as bright. I think I hear pretty well even if my wife doesn’t agree so I’m only assuming I have normal age related hearing loss. So the broad question is how much an old fahrt should take into consideration brightness? Sure, try something and make up one’s own mind but I don’t have the luxury of traveling for listening sessions so relying on sifting through reviews is a big part of my decision making. I have been intrigued by the new closed Sundara but there’s little to go on so far.

I'm in exactly the same situation and watching replies, too. Have considered the Focal Celestee since a local shop can get them. I love my Clears, but open back means I overhear my wife's TV programs. King Crimson and Dr. Pimple Popper are a baaaaad match
I recommend DCA Aeon, I had the RT before I upgraded, it sounds fantastic.

Come on! You can tell us. Was Frank a closet Marilyn Manson fan? :smirk:
He must have hidden those.
Finnegan and I are still sorting. Of course he found a few protective bags and decided to guard those.

Nice collection he gave you, but I don't expect that he would have given you his cherished MM collection. :D

Have you said which REL and Sonus Faber you ended up with?

Na. Finnegan wants to either hire an intern to sort these or just color code them, today we are listening to CD’s in red jewel cases. 😸😸
