Good re-master (24bit 88.2kHz) of John McLaughlin's 'Montreux Years' from the 1970's ... if you're into his jazz/rock/blues/latin fusion style !

Spotted in Absolute Sound ... https://www.theabsolutesound.com/ar...ux-years/?mc_cid=5e9a425b31&mc_eid=f9cbb11f42

On QOBUZ
Hum... The version on US Qobuz is 44.1/24, not 88.2/24. I also checked on the Qobuz download store and on ProStudioMasters, also 44.1/24. This review https://audiophilereview.com/audiophile-music/listening-report-john-mclaughlins-the-montreux-years/ mentions 88.2/24 on Tidal/MQA (gag), but otherwise 44.1/24. No problem, just wanted to check that it was that same release.

It's a good amp, TBH I sometimes miss the one I used to own and sold in favor of fancy tube stuff.

I was always interested in playing around with all those controls to experience what they could bring to sound.

I think @bcowen's car requires one bottle of that every 500 miles.

We just returned from WNC. Twice enjoyed excellent BBQ ribs.

I'm really struggling, you guys…

So, I'm trying to find a solution for my headphone rig in the office. I need some sort of rack that can comfortably and neatly hold a Gumby, Bifrost, Lokius, Mjolnir, Folkvangr, Jotunheim, and a Valhalla, and some more stuff like switches.
Comfortably, because it should allow for plenty of air flow.
Neatly, because with that much Schiit, cable management becomes an issue.
It should also be on wheels or something, because I need to be able to move it around so that I can easily reach the back.

I can't find anything that comes even close to what I'm looking for.

Looks like I will need to build something out of engineer's lego; i.e. extruded aluminum profiles.

PS: Could Schiit please start offering their stuff in rack-mountable versions as well? That'd be neat! 🤣
If you are not into the full DIY take a look at wheeled kitchen racks/islands, and since I am in Alabama Walmart is the first hit, but something like this?

@filthy mechanical works with molten metal. Mayhap he can cast something appropriate

In terms of racks, has anyone had any luck in making/buying/stealing a rack that meets with spousal approval? (happy spouse, happy house!)
Sadly metal castings I deal with are not quite the same, 7"x7"x34-44' or 235mm to 255mm at 24 to 81" wide up to 45 metric tons does not work for household castings - example furnace to melt the steel.

For desk setups, just set this up myself having just moved - taking advantage of the monitors to reflect the upward firing similar to full size Ohms using the wall (and yes, these are amazing and have been seen before in this thread, very well made!). MB Asgard 3 -> Audioengine N22 -> Paladin79's improved Decware Tiny Radials. Photo taken before keyboard, mouse, etc. Alterative is DT770 250 ohms.

The Matrix crossfeed circuit is subtle, but it does push the sound image out from between the ears. However, if I was really missing that kind of imaging, time to go to the big speaker rig. In general, I've concluded that I prefer to let well-chosen components do their job than spend time fiddling with settings.
