It just occured to me ...

If Jason et. al. were to build a motor vehicle with a cubic body, what would it be called...?

Beyond that, let's please leave the objective/subjective challenges alone, lest we end up in Sound Science.

I.e., Purgatory.

Objective/subjective or similar debates seem like a really good way to take what we love and make sure no one gets any enjoyment from it.

Some people enjoy letting their imagination take over, some don't.

I've read this whole story recently. I'll be honest I've yet to order any Schiit.
Fulla seems to appeal the most as it's the one thing I can use as a consultant with no-fixed-abode hence no desk.

Recommendations:
 - Something more capable but (almost) as portable as a fulla.
 - For all the people complaining about cable management issues. Maybe really low profile SYS. Not sure if it's achievable consider the shielding requirements.
 - Since you seem to want to educate neophytes and invite them into Audiophilia and since you have a gift for writing. Something other than Hardware, more things like this book that make people want to take an interest.

The Fulla works Surprisingly well for the size and price. It comes with a short enough cable that its not cumbersome when used with a laptop. While it may be a bit of a pain in an Airport or a place where you don't have a desk to work on because it will will be hanging off the side. However It works perfectly when you are working at a coffee shop or at a borrowed desk. It is a definite improvement over the sound card on both my work laptop and desktop. It does not need drivers for most computers so if your laptop is locked down by the company and will not let you install drivers it should still work. Note :It will not do 24/192. I Upgraded My desktop setup to a Modi 2 U and a Vali. But I keep the Fulla exclusively for traveling. I think its worth a shot for the price.

Holy moly, what did I get myself into with this measurement chapter? It's a very deep rabbit hole.

(I should have it done by next week, but I seriously thought about breaking it into two pieces.)

In any case, just in case you were wondering...

Schiit Audio Stay updated on Schiit Audio at their sponsor profile on Head-Fi.

We'll enjoy the story no matter if we can't understand what you're talking about, don't worry. :p
