Actually, I like DLR's first solo releases, in a guilty please way. Crazy from the Heat, Eat 'Em and Smile, and A Little Ain't Enough are all albums I still enjoy. Skyscraper not as much. Your Filthy Little Mouth marks the beginning of the end as far as I'm concerned. Sure, there is nothing ground breaking musically in any of these collections, but David is such a cliche machine I can't help but smile when I listen to the lyrics. "Dogtown Shuffle" is a good example.I’ll fight anyone who says they know of an album that wasted more top-flight talent than that one.
