T-shirts are available at the Schiitr.
I suppose that, technically, I'm within driving distance but it would take several days

Better than a bare head...
Oh let me clarify, I was indeed sporting a bare head prior to receiving my splat, er - hat

Legend has it that the Pony Express still runs by there every now and then. Forgot whether horses can swim though.
Make up your mind. Make a choice. You sound like a woman.
Ponies or horses?

Odd, because I've never had any problem getting to ear-bleeding levels on Jotunheim R with the SR1a, definitely above a Vidar into the resistor box.

With respect to a more powerful box, anything's possible--for several times the price, and in a much larger physical size. There are currently no plans for this.
If you can come up with something equivalent to two vidars (400W) at the size of a single vidar, with built in volume control (remote?) and vidar heat sinks, then i won't mind paying USD1800-2100 for it.
I'm running my SR1a with two vidars and a freya S, with a 12 inch box fan for cooling. The hassle i could save on space, cooling, cables, power consumption and sockets would be well worth it, not to mention the improvement in sound quality. So go for it.

Hehe you don't want much...

I'd like something like this, although Ragnarok size...

Read the Raal thread. i believe someone posted an issue if you drive the sr1a with that much power.
