Shades of my last 2 channel speakers, Carvers "Amazing" (MK IV's if I remember correctly)

Yes those 5' ribbons came from the Amazings, the baffles are giant Corian custom countertops, they weigh a ton.

I'll post more about that system, and hope to listen to it soon. It's all analog and tubes with a spendy vintage ARC amp on the ribbons.
It's biamped and the ribbons play down to 150hz!

More details to come, I'm loaning him my Yggy for a audition in his main system, I've heard his DAC, he will be buy one.

That is a great idea. Now the Modi 2 is old tech, yet still better than any onboard Laptop soundstage. I think re-gifting your Old Schiit is the best use for it. Spread your Schiit far and wide!!
