I haven't tried goats milk in anything other than cheese. One of my favourites is a marinated goat & sheep cheese from a local dairy.Do I need blind testing? On a whim I made chocolate pudding using goat’s milk instead of cow’s milk. Other than that it was my usual recipe, containing a lot of chocolate. I could not taste a difference. One daughter says she can taste a difference. I also used the goat’s milk in coffee, again my usual recipe. Like my chocolate pudding the coffee is very rich and dark. I easily detected a difference in the taste of the coffee (goat versus cow milk versions.) But this testing was not A B and was sighted. Am I being too subjective?

My wife loves cheese but will not eat goats cheese, doesn't like it all.
Not at all. It's very simple. But now it's clear to me in that regard, head-fi works in a very weird way.

You need to try Mozzarella di Bufala! If a cow or goat or sheep was not involved, it is not a dairy product.![]()
I’d love to try pudding made with whole (including the cream) goat’s milk. No reason. That makes it easier lol, stick with cow.![]()

Nice reference to "Aliens" right thereFollowup: "things to do" embedded in an update:
1. The Big Crazy Thing should be shown at Dallas CanJam, unless something really weird happens. Shooting for availability shortly thereafter.
2. In fact, we specifically got a room at CanJam to show Wotan, Gungnir 2, the Big Crazy Thing (and some other stuff), in addition to our table.
3. The Big Crazy Thing has a name, but it won't be announced until we're there at CanJam.
(If The Big Crazy Thing doesn't make it to CanJam, I'll just have a bunch of bourbon in the room. It'll probably still be one of the most popular rooms in the show.)
We're also scheduling new products for production and developing new things. So, right now, "things to do," include:
1. Graphics for the show.
2. Planning for the show--explanations, presentations, etc.
3. Advertising for the Big Crazy Thing.
4. Additional testing, etc to ensure the Big Crazy thing is perfect.
5. Scheduling new stuff, including Valhalla 3 and Stjarna.
6. Scheduling other new stuff you don't know about, which includes still finalizing metal drawings and doing BOMs.
7. Assembly, testing, and tweaking of stuff for 2025.
8. Planning for end of year craziness (things always ramp up at the end of the year.
9. Documentation, including chapters, product descriptions, manuals, etc for all the new products.
10. Helping out as we finish up the move-related logistics stuff.
Plus all the other stuff of making tile, reviewing the new house as it's built, dealing with various business craziness, financial planning with Tyler and the accountants, evaluating new Schiitr options, etc.
So yeah, apologies if I go straight to the "nuke the site from orbit" option when people can't behave around each other.
So much going on, hope you also take some time away and relax!

I do not do a lot of pudding other than occasionally banana, rice or bread but I certainly admire your making such things for your kids and family to enjoy.I’d love to try pudding made with whole (including the cream) goat’s milk. No reason.

Bread pudding made well is to die for.

The first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions goats is curry goat.
