Ok some good news for @adydula, the Amperex Bugle Boy I took a chance on tests stronger and better balanced than the one I sent him to try. My 12AU7 to 5670 adapter arrived. Sound stage is as good as it gets, I love this tube.
Hopefully he likes it as well. More listening is needed before I ship.

I popped in a 5963 with the adapter and its really decent as well....
The box, and this is one from my BH Crack days is yellow and faded but it says,
Sylvania JAN 5963, Date packaged -71.

Cant remember where I bought this from or when!! LOL!

I do get around I suppose. Only the best people get purple interconnects from me. I will send this Amperex to you early next week. Something you might like if you have Qobuz is 1964 in 50 albums. Song for my Father by Horace Silver Quintet may become a test song for me. Some Kinks, Beach Boys, Beatles, Dylan, Getz, Hancock, Simone.... quite a compilation.

Oh and my work with this tiger maple will go to someone other than Cowen once I pay his usage tax and other fees.

When I was racing motorcyles in my youth I was the guy with the fuchsia, purple, teal leathers!!

Thats a nice piece of wood...we have a local Woodcraft shop and I often go in and look at their exotic wood collection in the back room.
Amazing the man upstairs has blessed us with so many neat woods....

Ooh! I have a handful of those from an old preamp project. Now I have to buy another adapter.

Too many adapters.
Too easy to confuse my old brain!
Having a Vali 2+ and a Vali 3 is adding to the confusion here at times!! Yikes!
Jason should make a universal small tube amp that you can switch in and out different parameters.
An amp that has several sockets for different tube families and plate / grid voltages etc..
Bunch of switches to change things...
And keep the power switch in the back!

OMG!! Would that make me smile!!

I have choices, just five or six more boxes to go through for single triodes. 7A4’s as well.

Inside these cases are tubes I do not show. I borrowed them from my local group and they are being picked up today.
