You should upgrade to home roasting… you’ll never go back, and, by my calculations, (16oz per day consumption rate), I had a just over two year ROI versus buying already roasted. Also, I can get my roast exactly as I like it.

I use the Genecafe’ roaster, and typically get my green beans from SweetMarias (California company)

I might consider that one day, thanks for the info! Generally my wife handles the coffee making since I tend to sleep later. I do like to get up about the time the stock market opens though.

That roaster is impressive, you are undoubtedly a man of style and fine taste.

This works for restaurants (non-fast food types) as well. If the lot is full of cars with local tags, chances are it's quite good. The local folks know. That works for us in Tennessee and even worked on our 1999 world tour in Brienz, Switzerland.

Nice! Ok I just searched and there are a half dozen or so NC BBQ places that ship anywhere in the U.S.!!! I rarely use these words but @bcowen I need your expertise!!! Help me here buddy, Should it be Parker’s or King’s or pit master Ed Mitchell????

I tend to use a Tovala oven for reheating pizza. It adds a bit of steam that keeps the crust from drying out. It takes more time than a microwave but the end result is much better.

That's the reason I do the skillet method the way I do. Heating toppings down adds moisture to the crust.

Crikey! That's going to be tough to blend, good thing you don't need to! The RSL SpeedWoofer is a top contender for quality/price ratio maximization; which is why they are almost always sold out. I like my Starkes and they run sales constantly: 2 for the price of 1, 15in for the price of the 12 etc, etc. Didn't like my SVS, do like my 3 OSD, my Outlaw M8 is a workhouse.

I have some TBI I could gift you (and amp) but they aren't really intended for movies.

I missed the last offering of the RSL as I was on vacation. Considering Cambridge Audio Minx X201 since it also has a line out and that is my use case. (Lyr 3 to sub, sub to Gjallarhorn)

Do the Starkes have a line out? hard to tell on the website

I've never been to any of the places you mentioned. As well, I've never had NC BBQ that was frozen, shipped, thawed, and reheated. My expertise is only with fresh out of the smoker BBQ, and frozen/thawed BBQ may not be the same. So maybe just pick one, and if it's not good then it didn't survive the freezing very well as it's technically impossible for NC BBQ to be bad in any other way.

Interesting. I have not tried it so I will take your word for it.

Time for me to think about how I would make stands for Tyrs. Maybe white oak and Purple Heart woods. The edges are very important if I am going to make them pretty.
