there is a model named Audigy 4 OEM
usually OEM means that it's just sold without fancy case and stuff.
but not in this case)

Creative's marketology section are reeeally creative when it comes to naming their products)

just like in case of their X-fi xtreme audio, which doesn't belong to X-fi series, but actually is a slightly modified Soundblaster Live =)

I can't get either the PAX Alpha 1.00 or 1.05 drivers to recognize my soundcard and install on Windows 7

Slightly off topic....

Just moved my card to a new faster machine.

I was surprised to find that the Audigy 2 sounded much better on the new machine than the old. One benefit of the upgrade I was not expecting. I kind of figured that since the sound card off loaded the cpu, the cpu did not matter.

Of course maybe its a power supply issue.

Anyway...sounds better!

I found this thread through google when I was looking up more information on this sound card.  I was much annoyed to see the thread hijacked by someone who was more interested in arguing and 'ignoring' people than being useful.
