Regularly priced at $30 - sale ends today @ $20. I bought the CH102 the other day and consider these headphones a great deal - and still very good for $30. These headphones remind me of the level of bargain the KSC75 offers. But I easily prefer the CH102 to a stock KSC75, which are bass light in comparison.
I enjoy my CH102 most with classic rock, but it also should be good with metal or similar aggressive genres. I found it necessary to EQ it to sound best from my various sources / amps. EQ'd and straight from my Sansa Fuze, I found it lacking. But from the Fuze and my GoVibe V5 it sounds outstanding - very entertaining. I'm guessing a cMoy with any portable device would get it up to speed. Not suggesting it can't be enjoyed without additional amplification, just that it's a lot of fun with "adequate" amplification.
