Hi,
 
currently I have a P-51 Mustang link to my ipod touch via LOD. there are 3 settings (Hi, Low & Med), may I know what are the different gain setting for? when should i use what setting?

It depends on what headphones you are using at the time. For easy to drive headphones you'll want to use the low setting as it will give you the largest range of volume control. For headphones that are harder to drive you'll want to use the higher settings as you won't be able to reach the same volume level and it will be pushing more current to make them sound more like they should.
