Hi all,
I am planning to dive into the world of headphones, was mostly into IEMs before. Has anyone here tried/reviewed or owns the Hifiman HE400S? Will it be a good pair to go with Fiio X5 (1st gen)? Does it have a neutralish SQ ala RE400?

Any info/suggestion is much appreciated.

Cheers!
Rajib

Say, how do you think the Icons compare to the Havi B3 pro1?

No idea about the HAVI but its better than Piston for sure, might be as bang for buck as Pistons but its still good for its price.

Happy New Year to all HeadFiers out there and especially to my fellow country men & women. Hope that the year, which lies ahead of us is full  of joy, inspiration, also wishing this year will bring contagious common sense and pioneering spirit amongst more and more people.

Cheers

Folks, which can would you recommend between the Shure SRH440 & Sennheiser HD280 Pro for a closed can for home use.

Edit> I'm asking because both are available for around the same price, ~5000 ₹. Thanks.

ShreyasMax

Senn 280 Pro all the way, but if you prefer to see elsewhere, then the Edifier H850 and the Takstar Pro 80 are great sounding headphones in the sub Rs.5000/- category.

Thanks for the suggestions sir, appreciate it. Will look into the Takstar as well, as I've heard and seen quite a lot about them.

Think about Meizu HD50 as well. Latest reviews suggest that they are slightly better than Pro80 with a better style and most importantly comfort. I own Pro80 and I love them. But personally feel that they lack a lil bit of mid bass and mids can sound bit artificial depending on the source. I listen to them on X3ii and voices are better now compared to my Cowon player.
Here's the link to get HD50

I'm waiting for their India release as their smartphones prices are better in Indian market than abroad.
