@Roasty sorry to hear that. My Android app is not showing correct info after update, in fact there are differences in information shown by Android, iOS apps and WLS web server. Try updating from WLS web server directly. Just add paste your WLS name or IP address into web browser.

@Roasty sorry to hear that, I have no idea what to do next, except contacting Rockna.

It is kind of scary considering that all WLS should be the same (except SSD sizes), with the same firmware and yet there are such problems. BTW it seems Rockna has some consistency problems with their marketing as well: the WLS app "Rockna" logo is quite different from the one you can find on their hardware products.

Let us know how this story ended please.

The Singxer SU-6 is I2S connected to my WL, on I2S output 2 of the Singxer and I2S mode 2 of the Wavelight.
After the last software upgrade of Wavelight to 1.38 I noticed inversion of channels when playing PCM files.
I rolled back to 1.23 but the same thing happens. I hadn't noticed anything like that before.
After various tests I came up with the following Singxer setup: SW7 ON, SW9 ON, SW 10 ON and the rest switches OFF.
Does anyone have a similar problem?

@kostas6a3 I have a similar setup as yours. I have on the WL i2s mode 2 (finally managed to upgrade to firmware 1.38) and on the SU-6, switch 5 ON and switch 7 ON.

Good that you brought this up. I am planning to get a Singxer SU-6.

What I suspect is that WL needs a power cycle (power off/on) to get the changed I2S input type setting valid. Maybe it is like that just in connection with the WDNET, I do not know.

Rockna themselves recommended that setting and when I tested it, it works on either ON or OFF position so I just left it there.

I would like to use I2S input on WL. Whenever I tried (firs from Cayin N7, then from Rockna WaveDream Net) I experienced a smoother, more refined, more detailed sound compared to USB.
I have EverSolo DMP-A6 as streamer. This does not have I2S output, only USB.
SU-6 would transform from USB to I2S.

Honestly speaking I see no reason to do that as WL owner. While WL + WLS price can be similar to WD (without WaveDream NET) I further see no reason for such move. I would understand however if one would like to move from WL to more cricial listening expirence but that opens a question if any WD release is a right direction. I know I would move to a completely different DAC and in turn would get a very different expirence: Mola Mola Tambaqui is one in my book for example.

If you like Delta-Sigma sound. But don't sell your R2R, so you can return after half year when you get bored with sound.

I haven’t used my wavelight in about a month, dac is working fine but the remote isn’t. When I boot it up, just says searching in an endless loop. I tried uninstalling the app but that didn’t work. Any suggestions? Thanks
