Rockna said they're currently testing the server prototype with plans to release this summer. Some preliminary details include hardware upsample to DSD512 via I²S, typical streaming functions including Roon server/core, 1TB SSD standard but user expandable, etc. I currently use a Roon Nucleus and a Lumin streamer, no complaints but I look forward to consolidating those boxes into this Wavelight Server, and also to take advantage of the I²S pairing.

A beautiful custom 4 rails power supply on optimized Win10 running hqplayer with jcat femto for now. Will get the pink faun after the comparison, hopefully in a couple of weeks. I tried roon, but I prefer my setup.

A bit more than Rockna Wavelight at usd6.3k but certainly much less than Wavedream and this ocxo one with clock output may add to your woes:

After literally months of humming and hawing over which DAC to pick up, this arrived today. The packaging was super impressive, it had its own foam sarcophagus, haha. I don’t really want to speak about the sound quality yet, as I’d like to let it warm up and what not, but the build quality is really, really impressive.
