Rockbox for iPOD Video 5th 5.5th mSATA SSD MOD

hi all - sorry to revive a rather old thread. was an early modder of ipods and have been using my 5.5 w 256Gb SD card happily for years. a friend recently asked me to mod his so i'm back at it and noticed some new rockbox code has dropped (i've been using the old beXXXXX code, lol).

i've just switched to the 3.15 patch by @silvervest and it appears to be working just fine. but i'm curious what the new code will give me. does it take care of the annoying file transfer errors when transferring in rockbox (i've always had to boot to iOS to ensure error-free transfers)? if yes...woohoo!!

Not sure what you mean by "3.15 patch by sivervest". I'm not familiar with that or what it does. RB version 3.15 is a little old itself, now, being nearly a year-and-a-half old. I think there have been improvements regarding rockbox ata driver (so affecting that file transfer issue) since then. Be better off using the lastest development version.
