Bro have u tried modding the Hana (yours is the original version) with a Tanchjim filter? Spoke to a few friends locally who just used the Oxygen/Tanya filters and the graph looks the same as the Hana 2021 (ie tamed the shouty upper mids).
I have tried some mods on it and it does indeed fix the tonality that I had some issues with in stock.

Hello @RikudouGoku, wanted to ask if you could graph CCA CRA with the KATO spring tips (or other wide bore), it seems to be a popular "mod" on one forum I visit to calm the treble peaks a bit. Can't find anyone graphing different tips.
Its also getting popular there, similar to your earbud foam mod, to use q-tip cotton in the tips to lessen the treble. Harder to judge the right amount but I think its usually 1/4 (boosts bass a lot) and 1/8 part of the tip.

also thank you for your graphs and modding ideas, ordered some high density foam, 500mesh filters, and earbud pads, can't wait to try them out instead of using cotton and household dishwashing sponge

Tip differences dont show up that much in graphs, thats one of the reasons why there are almost no one that measures different tips. Because our ears are all shaped differently, so the different shapes of the tips will affect your ears differently.

Be careful about using cotton because the residue (small cotton particles) can fall off easier from them compared to foam, you dont want those particles to fall into your iem.

If you want to play with mods, there is another one that is more advanced, the alcohol pad mod.

Try ePro Horn tips, they really improve the CRA especially regarding the treble peakiness.

Impressions:
Bass: Probably the best bass from a bud in this price range, very good extension has actual rumble and is elevated with both mid and sub-bass, but fast/tight and very well textured.

Mids: male vocals are recessed and lacks a lot of warmth, female vocals are extremely shouty and sharp, tonality is just decent but timbre is very unnatural.

Treble: airy, very elevated and peaky, timbre is very unnatural.

Overall: It is pretty much unlistenable due to the super shouty mids and peaky treble. Bass is great though but timbre is very unnatural overall, technicalities are good that’s no surprise with this kind of tonality.

Rank: D+

Impressions:
Bass: Slightly elevated, mid-bass, there is some sub-bass but it is pretty rolled-off like usual buds. Not as fast/tight as some more neutral buds, but not too slow/loose either, texture is decent.

Mids: Male vocals are pretty good in terms of the tonality and timbre, but it is a bit unclean. Female vocals lack some brightness and aren’t very clean but has decent timbre. Both male and female vocals aren’t forward nor recessed.

Treble: Non-fatiguing, smooth and warm, not a lot of air though.

Overall: the tonality is pretty decent and is good if you want a relaxing and non-fatiguing bud with good timbre. The technicalities aren’t that good (for this price) though and overall, the EB2S isn’t anything special and not worth the price to me.

(Its different (warmer and a bit more bass) from the discontinued ME80, but is less technical and IMO inferior to it.)

What would you recommend as an upgrade pick for the CCA CRA. Love the overall sound signature and comfort. I would want smoother treble and better technicalities (including soundstage and imaging). I was looking at IKKO OH10, Fiio FH3, and FD5. What you think?

You wont like this answer, but nothing is like this that I have tried and certainly not the ones you mentioned.
