@RikudouGoku Have you tried impedance adapters with the KBEAR Neon? The Neon has an impedance of 14 ohms while the Etymotic ER4SR is 45 ohms, and they should have the same BA drivers. I wonder how the Neon’s FR would change with a 30 ohm adapter.

DD party huh? Well, guess you can...illuminate us on how they sound like.Lofty and Illumination
Looks very good all the way up to 3kHz! Still dips a bit early at 5kHz though. How does it sound?Only got an 80ohm adapter though.
Thanks for the graph

Busy with the Phoenix, but it looks too bright for me based on the graph...Looks very good all the way up to 3kHz! Still dips a bit early at 5kHz though. How does it sound?

I got CEMA Electroacousti RS and RX series cable, and a pair of DJ35A + DJ44A.
I just wanted to say thank you for all the contributions you’ve made to the community including the cable measurements and recs. And also, regarding the 1/16th foam mod in regards to the KZ DQ6, do you remove the nozzle screen and insert the foam in the nozzle?

Thank you for the kind words.I just wanted to say thank you for all the contributions you’ve made to the community including the cable measurements and recs. And also, regarding the 1/16th foam mod in regards to the KZ DQ6, do you remove the nozzle screen and insert the foam in the nozzle?
For the DQ6, I put the foams inside the tips, no need to remove the mesh on the nozzle itself. Its why this mod is fully reversible without any risks at all. If you needed to remove the mesh, you might damage the mesh and therefore it wouldnt be reversible.
Do impedance adapters mainly affect BA IEMs? How would the DQ6 respond with your 80 ohm adapter?

Seems to basically be the same. I dont think DDs are as sensitive to resistance changes as BAs.
Although with tribrids like the Mon and clair, they certainly change a lot.

I hope my Monarch arrives next week, how can I get an 20 ohms resistor for a 4.4mm cable ?

Penon has a 20ohm adapter.I hope my Monarch arrives next week, how can I get an 20 ohms resistor for a 4.4mm cable ?
Thank´s in advance.
https://penonaudio.com/3.5mm-impedance-adapter.html
Although with a disclaimer:
No idea if there is another adapter that is 100% 20 ohm though....
From what I have seen, I havent seen any balanced resistance adapters.
So you would need to convert the 4.4mm into 3.5mm then into the resistance adapter or just go with a 3.5mm cable.
There’s this one: https://store.hiby.com/products/balanced-impedance-adapterI hope my Monarch arrives next week, how can I get an 20 ohms resistor for a 4.4mm cable ?
Thank´s in advance.
But unfortunately only the 2.5mm to 4.4mm version is available currently.

Finally a headphone I am actually impressed by. Nails timbre and tonality while technicalities are also good.
