Just here to chime in that I've had my T20 that i purchased since it first released around 2016. The memory wire is mangled and looks really bad and the gold plating on the jack has faded but the earphones still perform flawlessly. What's funny is that I was worried the wire was gonna snap before the 3 year warranty was up so I emailed RHA with pictures to show the problem. RHA sent me a new set with the revised memory wires for free. So now I have a new unboxed pair waiting to replace my current ones which still aren't dead. These things really last!

I also have T20i and T20 Wireless.
I strongly recommend you using silicone earhook preventing the memory wire.
