I just don't get why you can't let this go. How are you to know his motivation? It's already been explained what he did and why he did it. We can agree or disagree with his choices, but why question his motive? Are you insinuating he doesn't know what galvanic isolation means? I just don't understand.

Well sure, of course. It's just kind of a strange thing to keep talking about.
 
If he says why he did what he did, and we don't believe him.... then ok, let's move on. If you were a DA8 owner who had some specific issue with your system and felt it would have been helped by having galvanic isolation, then maybe I would understand more.

teiki arii is a tahitian name. And I live 30Km next to Spain frontier...

No need burn-in any more but sometimes depending on audio tracks, I still prefer Toslink...

And my three best friends where I live are english, italian and catalan...

 and one of my boy because of chess has Monte-Carlo nationality...
