If we were to analogize the QP1R to bodybuilder talk, I would say that the QP1R produces "gains" in most everything it pairs with.

Dat current mode amplification, yo!

Seriously though, the QP1R defies and obliterates measurements and numbers - love it!

Hello first i don't understand how so many people when got the questyle sells the ak240;))they are so diferent , the ak does usb dac streamer and in balanced mode is great, anyway the only problem that i sometimes get with my qp1r is that the batery drains to quickly sometimes us on 70% and past alf an hour is 30% , there will be someone with the same problem?

I picked up a used QP1R here and ran it continuously at first. The battery indicator would go down slowly to ~88% and then the next thing I new it was saying like 4% and then it would auto shut off. I'll admit I wasn't watching it religiously but it was lasting ~8-10 hours. It did this 2 times at first. Since then it has read correctly, percentage becoming less as time went on, 74, 63, 57, 44, 32 etc... until it feel below 10% and once it was low enough auto shut off kicked in.

I had put off picking up a DAP the last year and half but with moedawg140's review and all the positive comments concerning the QP1R I decided it was time to get on board. I have to say I am totally satisfied.... The output power for planer headphones can't be beat. An all in one unit is wonderful. Right now using/testing it as a source into the Yggy through the optical SPDIF input.
