Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings

So looks like pretty much like the QP2R design, aside from swapping the 2.5m with the 4.4 balanced output?

I notice that the Fiio M11 will support DSD out via USB, wonder of this will do the same. That could be handy...

From an earlier posted picture on Facebook, it looks like the new DAP has two card slots.

When it says it had a lower noise floor, does that mean it'll play nice with my Shure SE846 - no hissing )?
I'm curious about that too. As much as I love my QP1R, it's one of the worst DAPs in terms of noise floor with the SE846.

So, proprietary Sony balanced-out instead of 2.5 mm? Boo, Questyle!

It streams anything? It looks like they mean it streams anything when acting as a USB-DAC connected to your smartphone.

I'll certainly check this out, but I'm a bit dissapointed they've scrapped the 2.5mm balanced output connections.

Does anybody have the output specifications?

The 4.4 is supposed to be stronger.

Hey guys, can anyone advise me if the Mrspeakers Ether 2 open back headphones would be ok with the QPR1.
Not sure if the Qpr1 will need an amp to drive them, have found a decent deal for them. Thnx in advance

Am I one of the few users without any qualms despite all its criticisms and terrible bugs?
Anyways this happens to me a lot: 45% battery > plugs in headphones > blacks out (me gusta lol)
Sounds so splendid that I always ignore such issues. It beats the details of AK240 by a hair and trumps my Cowon PS in musicality and transparency.
No comments about the higher models from AK380 beyond though, would love to hear a comparison myself (always late in the Hi-Fi game).

Which firmware are you running? I went to 1.09, but changed back to 1.08 because of the new volume settings. So I still have the battery level issue supposedly (it doesn’t effect mine tho)

I'm using 1.0.9. Do not recall updating them myself besides maybe when it went for servicing last year
