That would be about right, price wise. I just wonder if these people selling stuff for over the new price, ever get away with it?

You’d have to be stupid to pay that price!!! You see some very bizzare listings on ebay and amazon.

The battery indicator on my QP1R seems to be working as it should do since it’s been fixed, fingers crossed it remains so...
Just noticed that the same guy has an iBasso DX100 for sale at the same magical £1000. I sold mine for £250.
Who are these guys - do they really believe potential buyers will pay these prices?

I've got a X5ii up for sale set the moment, I'm quite prepared to be reasonable and offer it at a discount of £500 to anyone interested

I'm sorry; were you serious?

You could have just got an AMP5.

Yes, I could have but my last one was an AMP2, just wanted to try a new DAP. :)

Regarding the QP1R - has anybody tried a FW 1.0.9?
Which version is the optimal one in your opinion - 1.0.8? I am now at this one.
Sound-wise no difference between 1.0.8 and 1.0.9?

I like 1.0.9 because of the 120-step volume. I think the sound is a tiny bit more vivid. However, that oppinion is subjective with no evidence except a nebulous feeling on my part. Don't ask me about the silly battery problem and whether .9 helps it, as I have no clue.

I installed 1.09 on the day I received my new unit in January. Not sure I like the 120 step volume change though. As for the "silly battery problem" (not silly to some people) I have not experienced it. I don't know whether 1.09 fixed it (as claimed) or whether I had an unaffected unit from the get go.
