Just noticed that the same guy has an iBasso DX100 for sale at the same magical £1000. I sold mine for £250.
Who are these guys - do they really believe potential buyers will pay these prices?

The battery indicator on my QP1R seems to be working as it should do since it’s been fixed, fingers crossed it remains so...

Ha! I was, as it is known in these parts, taking the piss. It was a response to the earlier, ridiculous, prices quoted by the posters above for a QP1R.

However, I am actually selling a Fiio X5ii... Starting price £150...

Yes, I had DX200, and also 3 units in a row.
At some point it was my fav but then I begun to opt for more "warm" DAPs.
I've just bought the Opus #2 so need time to have my ears "warmed up",
to absorb its signature.

Which version is the optimal one in your opinion - 1.0.8? I am now at this one.

I like 1.0.9 because of the 120-step volume. I think the sound is a tiny bit more vivid. However, that oppinion is subjective with no evidence except a nebulous feeling on my part. Don't ask me about the silly battery problem and whether .9 helps it, as I have no clue.

I installed 1.09 on the day I received my new unit in January. Not sure I like the 120 step volume change though. As for the "silly battery problem" (not silly to some people) I have not experienced it. I don't know whether 1.09 fixed it (as claimed) or whether I had an unaffected unit from the get go.
