Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings

Questyle increased the price, but the used one was likely bought before the increase.

The new price of $999 reflects the new, improved click wheel.

The click wheel works fine. Looks the same. I never had the original qp1r

I had try both the new and old (mine) qp1r. I do not hear any differenc myself but ask the owner of the shop, she told me is lower floor noise.

I care more about the click wheel :p.

I am in love with this player! Insert mini SDs with gold contacts up in the screen's direction. To my ears, this blows the AK240SS away in sound quality!

Not yet unfortunately, probably will have a number of people able to hear both the old and new at our upcoming Source AV event.

I for one will be there , hopefully something can be done about my only frustration : the unreliable battery indicator.
This morning i wanted to test my new sennheiser pxc 480 on the train , my QP1R started at "78%" only to shut off 10 minutes later. Charging the QP1R at the office started at "37%" which i've become accustomed to  lately , shut off happens anywhere between "32%" and "43%" .
If it weren't for the stellar SQ

, I would have sold it months ago.
