+1

I just got my Tenore and I still like the KC06 better.

The Tenore is no slouch though.  You get a lot of goodness for the money.

+2. I got both this week and like them so far for their price asked. Like you I find the KC06 to sound very clear and airy but the bass need a bit more impact. The Tenore have that impact in the lower region but their mid is recess (a bit compare to KC06) and not as clear giving the impression that they have less detail.

I liked the tenore more so I sold both my kc06 gold and kc06A

I prefer the Tenors by quite some margin compared to the KC06.

People who sell their KC06 because they prefer the Tenore should be banned from this site.

Can you elaborate a little bit on why?

To put it short the KC06 is not my cup of tea

Someone else described their sound as a "wall of sound" and I can see why. I think it totally lacks soundstage depth and sounds really soulless. It has great clarity, very nice bass, great ergonomics and sounds great on low volume to sum up the positives for me.

I don't really feel like the Tenores are the second coming either but for my preferences they are a lot more enjoyable thane the KC06.

Lol...I know, this is all subjective.   But a wall of sound?

If what the KC06 produces is a wall of sound, it is the best wall of sound I have ever heard.
