any suggestions to other great amp / dac's matching Nobles ciems ?

Nathan already mentioned it, but I use the Pure II and it sounds great after a short time with the K10's!

Another vote for Apex Glacier, as well as the Leckerton UHA-6S mkII. I haven't messed with their new UHA-760 but some folks think it is a slight step down... so I'd stick with the 6S mkII and save some money in the process.

Do you use the Apex Glacier amp with a dedicated DAP?  If so, which?  If not, how is the sound improved out of your phone?

What all that talk bout burning in in the roxanne camp. How much burning in is needed with a pair of Noble Audio Ciem's ?

Burn in......

How much time......

Consider this, balanced armature drivers are used primarily in hearing aids, which are FDA controlled medical devices.

Now when you fit a hearing aid, you must fit the hearing aid to match the individuals hearing loss (similar concept as fitting glasses according to test results).

Now do you think the FDA would accept drivers that "drift" after being fitted to a persons hearing loss?

But back to your question, "burn in" is a polarizing topic so I try to avoid it.

One of the few Headfonia reviews I agree with!

Also: Try hooking the K10 up to an Ibasso PB2 with a balanced cable, you won't regret it

A four-month hiatus from Head-Fi should have been the equivalent of monetary compensation.... Oy, the $$ I spend here...
