Any other amp recommendation for the K10?
I already have a C5D, but I want to know whether other amps will make it sound better,
and also will there be any hiss when paired with hi-fi m8?
Had the Heir 8A back then loved it, moved to full sized headphones and now back to iems again. Tested the AK Angie, Layla, W60 and then K10 through my Cowon P1 with my SE846 for comparison. Guess which one I gladly took home? K10! Best IEM in my opinion as a whole package. The Wizard wins again =)
K10 in my opinion has the best package to offer, it just sounds good for all kinds of music.

I found a review of the K10 on Headfonics.com, and I love the introduction of the reviewer:
"My K10 is one of those very few pieces of gear that I would take with me if the world ended and I’d somehow survived. Zombies, Vampires, giant rodents or perhaps even genetically modified ex-girlfriends of mine wouldn’t stop me from trying to scour the land for a solar powered USB charger…if only to power my portable players to pair with my K10. Yep, I’d totally bring the K10 with me as the nukes drop. I would pick a nice spot at a park bench overlooking my city and get vaporized with a smile on my face as my lips ignite. With my body aflame, I’d shout “But, dat’ Bass though.”
hi just wanted to ask how are these off a iphone i have the iphone 6s plus and would prefer to use it without an amp on the guy how much volume do you require to get a good listening volume?

Yes, you will want to post any K10 related questions on the more active thread mentioned above. But to answer your question directly, the K10s sound absolutely fantastic straight out of the iPhone 6s Plus. You will not need a separate amp. I find myself listening to with the iPhone volume at about 25-30%. So yeah, you don't have anything to worry about... the iPhone can make the K10s uncomfortably loud.
Just got my K10SLA and I'm having a great time with it. I have read some comments, the review by jelt2359 in particular, that point toward a slightly veiled bass response. I actually find that this contributes to a much more analytical presentation of bass-head standbys such as Deadmau5' "4x4=12", which I highly enjoyed with these IEMs. I'm wondering whether anyone has tried the K10 with a tube amp. I use them on the go primarily, so I am currently considering ALO Continental Dual Mono.

The Apex Glacier I use is tuned to emulate a high-end tube amp sound in a very portable form. I recommend it for the K10 and just any ciem I've tried it on.

Well, originally, Pete Millett, the engineer behind the glacier and a lot of well-received amps from TTVJ, had a portable amp with a tube in it. The sound was said to be very good, but the amp would ring if you gave it a knock...so I think durability was part of the reason . The glacier sounds very good, so I've been quite happy with it.
