Thanks for satiating the curiousity Dr. wakeride! The size looks like it may be a perfect office amp - not too big, not too little. Just gotta wait for the production impressions.

I should have updated this thread to say that the production LISA III is every bit as good as the prototype was. It's an outstanding amplifier. While of course I am not able to compare the prototype and production versions directly, there is no doubt the Lisa III is excellent, and may be the best sounding battery-powered headphone amp there is.

However true this may be, would the vast majority consider it a portable amp? It seems to me that it would be a transportable at best. Heck the SR-71 and LaRocco PRII MkII are borderline portable amps to most.
