[REVIEW] Future Sonics Spectrum Series: G10 and impressions thread

Jul 20, 2015 at 9:50 PM Post #166 of 269
I just found out about these a couple of days ago.

I have the EM3's, MG5's, and MG7's. Each has progressed nicely over the years, and they are by far the best well-rounded IEM's I have ever had.

I love my Atrio's, but I have to make the move to the G10's

The G10's are definitely a step up! If you're a fan of the Atrio, then the G10 is for you.

Unfortunately, my Atrios bit it in 2009. They were heavily in use until 2009. The G10 is in my ears now and is quite a nice bass earphone with decent resolution into the midrange. For sure, people interested in sparkly, well-separated mids/highs will for trance and EDM will probably need to look elsewhere. But great comfort, great isolation, and very very good bass resolution. It seems also that the bass resonance against the shell has been much improved since ATRIO.

I bought a demo unit of the Atrio from Jaben Singapore a couple days ago for S$50 (US$37). Only after I left the building I was then told that there was another audio shop in the same building that is selling the G10 and has the G10 for demo

Will be heading down AGAIN next week to test it out.

LMUE actually has alot of interesting IEMs for demo, you may be picking up more than 1 item when you're there.

Actually I already demoed most IEM in LMUE store last time around...

I totally have to agree as I am one huge Atrios fan.
Comparing my old worn out Atrios MG7 with the G10 I can actually hear the step up in every aspect.
To my banged up ears they sounded wider, more clarity and the bass just packs a couple more punches and slams harder!
Build wise is definitely a step up. I am loving my pair and its making my DN1K's bass sounds so timid now. haha

Hey there, nice impressions, if you do a review please link to it here!

If you have a chance to give the G10 a full audition, I hope you'll stop by and share your thoughts.
