REVIEW: Fixup's SuperMacro
Oct 26, 2004 at 10:55 PM Post #16 of 37
Whoah! Zanth, you've reached into the heart of the lion and snatched out its soul. The plethora of detail in this awesome review rivals the amazing SuperMacro itself. I know what I've been hearing since my SM's arrival, now I understand a lot more about what's "under the hood". Thank you for the fine effort!

I can't wait to see your pictures and great review.

Maybe post a pic of the SuperMacro's front pannel upclose
and personal, so that we can see all of the feature controls.

Thanks!

Great review. I especially like the personal touch of writing it - there's a good flow to the text.

did you just say with 8 AAA batteries for this things? I hope it is a typo

7 oz. = 200 g

1 X AAA = 12 g

8 x AAA = 96 g

That leaves 100 g for the two tiny circuit boards, the case and the pot/switches. It does fall under 200 g.

bump, because apparently not enough people have appreciated this review or it wouldn't be on the second page already.

I should have a Gilmore Lite review up by tomorrow night. Then in two weeks...an HPA-1 review, head to head with the RA-1 and then 2-3 weeks after that SR71, SuperMacro Production version and then a head to head.
