Review: Fischer Audio's DBA-02

My DBA-02's do leak a wee bit of sound. If I want to crank up the volume, I found that wrapping them in a little blue tack does a good job of silencing them for real late night listening.

Okay guys! Here's my impressions after around 2 months with it.

<snip>

Conclusion..

These are vere good iems, capable of outperforming many iems and can be compared to the big boys.
They are well suited for all genres, and i feel anyone will appreciate them, except bassheads of course.
It's a good deal, especially for its price.

Compared to Triple Fis, highs matched head to head imho, except for the bass department and the mids.
The DBA's bass is more controlled and crisp, but the Triple Fis are more full sounding.
It depends on your taste really.
The DBA's mids are not as recessed as the Triple Fis, and i prefer the DBA's.
However, given a choice, i'd go for the triple fi's if they are reshelled with an additional mid driver.
However, stock, i'd choose the DBA's.

BEST IEMS I HAD YET!!

Well... I certainly agree with most of your review. Nice job.
Indeed, these are excellent IEM's. Might be the best I've ever had as well...

They certainly are my current faves.

I have no issue with sound leaking. I usually wear them in noisy environments to keep out the sounds, and they, with the help of the Comply's do a very good job.

cheers

argh the paper filter on my right earpiece went missing.
I haven't really detected much imbalance so far so anyone knows if it is more advisable to leave it as that or to try and find something to use as a filter?
I keep my ears clean and even with the paper filter i rarely get ear wax on the filter itself. But i'm still worried about stuff getting into contact with the driver and spoilng it

Ok i decided it should be safer to try and find a replacement filter.
Anybody knows if the phonak filters fit?

The non specific restock date is mostly just not to give people false hopes and have people upset if a date is missed, like last time.
I don't get them from Treoo, we are both FA dealers that get them from FA.

That said, I'm getting them at the same time as Treoo. That should be quite soon, but until I officially have a date given to me I won't make promises.

I've just entered the world of IEMs and I'm not excited by my RE-Zeros...

Hi.
It is the first tme I write to your forum.
I have written to Fischer Audio and took the following response.

 Theodore,
"The DBA-02 will be available again from late October-early November.
Please do contact me again.
We don't have any distributor in Greece, in fact we're still looking for one
but without great success.
If you have any idea on the matter your advice will be welcome"
.

So,you have to wait for some time.
